Wiener Dog Song: Dog Song Saturday

It's Saturday!  Time for a dog song at Talking Dogs.  Kick off your weekend in a dog-gone good way with Wiener Dog Song.

Wiener Dog Song is an original dog song that celebrates the enigmatic, beloved dachshund.  This music video features video footage and adorable photos of doxie dogs in various poses.  Wiener Dog Song was written by and performed here by Yet Another String Band and is available on their Cd We Are Yet Another String Band.

Growing up, I had a wiener dog brother.  Hansel was a standard black and tan Doxie and my mother's first heart dog.  These particular Wiener Dog Song lyrics fit him to a tee:

Stubborn as a mule.  You may think you rule.

But this I know is true... your wiener dog owns you.

Grab a dog.  A wiener dog if you've got one!  Sit.  Stay.  Relax and sing along to Wiener Dog Song! Fetch more dog song music videos at Talking Dogs and be sure to scroll down to explore some barking good blogs in today's Pet Blogger Hop.
