Unique Black Dog Jewelry for Holiday Gifts

The rescue jewelry at For Love of a Dog always makes good gifts for animal rescue volunteers, but our black dog jewelry happens to be some of our favorite pieces.  Since today is Black Friday, it seemed right to bark about it a bit.

Shown above is a black dog necklace that features a wonderful artisan lampwork black dog focal.  Three dimensional and handmade by a Colorado artisan.  I created the necklace by hand wire wrapping natural tigerseye gemstone beads and sweet black lampwork dog bone beads with gold jeweler's wire.  One of a kind necklace will not be repeated.

Shown below is a red crystal black dog lover necklace - with a big fat heart, of course.

The black dog bracelet below also has some of these very cool glass dog head beads that I imported from the UK.  This time I combined them with creamy white freshwater pearls and sweet hand carved black onyx gemstone stars.

Basset Hound Dog Jewelry and Gifts for People

For Love of a Dog is a one woman small business and because all but a very few are handmade by me, they're one of a kind and limited in number.  Unfortunately, that's very true of my Basset Hound dog themed jewelry and gifts.

I do happen to adore the Basset Hound necklace shown at top.  The pendant is a hand sculpted ceramic hound dog.  Very dimensional and oh, so sweet.  I combined it with big, beautiful blue / green ceramic hearts and some natural riverstone and jasper gemstone beads for a chunky statement necklace.

New Rachael Ray Inspired Dog Lover Jewelry at For Love of a Dog

Last week I shared with you the exciting news that I had the opportunity to create a special one of a kind dog lover bracelet for Rachael Ray.  I thought today I would share some of my new dog bone bracelets inspired by that piece.

You'll notice that all of these bracelets include handmade artisan lampwork beads, beautiful sparkling crystals for bling, plus a darling dog collar and dog bone toggle clasp.  Available in several color variations and in silver and gold, each is a one of a kind unique piece.


Here's a close-up of this pretty pink, white and silver confection.  This particular dog bone bracelet includes a handmade lampwork dog bone in white with pink paw prints.  Other lampwork beads include sweet pink rosebuds, pinks stripes and pink polka dots.  Pretty pink crystals, too.
